Reading at the Click of a Mouse

So it's 7:17 PM, it's pouring rain and your dearest child (or perhaps you, yourself) suddenly remembers that a book report or paper is due tomorrow or the next day, and you still don't have the book. The library is closed. You could bundle everyone up and try to make it to a bookstore. Or you could decide to let your fingers do the walking.

The Alex Catalogue of Electronic Texts is a collection of about 14,000 works in the public domain available online. It is searchable by title or by author.
