Thanks to my daughter who brought to my attention that the Shabbos elevator story is still riding up and down, even if some people aren't riding on them any longer. It made the front page of Yahoo news. I don't think this story is going to die down all that fast. Want to bet that some time in the near future this story will get skewed so that some people will be claiming that Daas Torah forbids Jews to ride in elevators?
