I once had up a posting on how I love the fact that Staten Island uses names for its streets instead of numbers or letters. Today one of those street names put a smile on my face.
Our DMV office moved and finding the new one had me traveling all over. Since I didn't want to repeat this on the way back home, I asked them at DMV for instructions. The person at the information window seemed to know what he was doing. His first instruction was to exit the parking lot and go up to the light and then make a right turn. That's when the smile started. That street I had to make a turn on? Lois Lane. I guarantee I'm not going to forget the name of this street. Would have been fun though if there had been a cross street named Kent or Clark. Go figure--having to spend time at the DMV for licence renewal can produce an unforgettable moment.

Clearly you haven't been on countless dates at the SI Hilton which is right off of Lois Lane as well ;)
I test guys by their recognition of Lois Lane - if they laugh or not.
As a fellow Staten Islander, an easy way to get to the DMV would be to go down Victory Blvd towards Funstation, turn right on Travis, make a left when you can't go straight anymore - I think its the Goethal's service road. And after crossing over the highway and railroad tracks, make a left into the DMV parking lot. In case you end up there again...
There's a Wit's End (as well as a Lois Lane) in Monsey :>)

Well of you fewer streets with real names it would have been easier to reach tour destination
Darn, you beat me to the Hilton comment! :)
I also try to test girls with the street name, but usually, they just ignore it.
Interesting, though, i've been told to usually expect 7-8 dates at the hilton. I've been there 3 times, and I've never seen more than 2. Are people going to the other hotels there?
