I have a feeling it is not acid enough to cut the grease.

For greasy pipes: pour some vinegar down the pipe and let stand in there for a few minutes. Flush with hot tap water. If a pipe is really stuffed with grease, put one tablespoon of baking soda down into the pipe. Pour in about 1/4 c. of vinegar and watch the volcano erupt. Then flush with hot tap water. For a greasy sink, pour the vinegar on a sponge and apply over the sink. Rinse and then apply some clean vinegar again.ProfKhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17954446826821665314noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2096776708897685863.post-85824931264898035692008-03-23T19:32:00.000-04:002008-03-23T19:32:00.000-04:00I tried some apple cider vinegar in my sink. I suppose it's the acid that's the trigger for this.Leorahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12303493764579879710noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2096776708897685863.post-71826532296115841002008-03-23T16:02:00.000-04:002008-03-23T16:02:00.000-04:00I wish I had read this a few weeks ago, when I thr...I wish I had read this a few weeks ago, when I threw out last year's pesadik vinegar. I only use it on Pesach, because the Pesach version is watered down (full strength apple cider vinegar is supposedly healthy). Now I'll try it for cleaning.Leorahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12303493764579879710noreply@blogger.com
